3. Orders and Payment Terms

3.1. Order Process

Placing an order on our website constitutes an offer to purchase products under these Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right to accept or decline your order for any reason, including but not limited to product availability, errors in product or pricing information, or suspected fraudulent activity.

3.2. Pricing

All prices are listed in US dollars and exclude applicable taxes and shipping fees unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to adjust prices at any time, but such changes will not affect orders already placed.

3.3. Payment Methods

Payment is processed at the time of order placement. By providing payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method.

3.4. Order Confirmation

After placing an order, you will receive an email confirmation acknowledging receipt of your order. This email constitutes order acceptance but does not signify order shipment.

4. Shipping and Delivery

4.1. Processing Time

Orders are processed within 1-2 business days after payment confirmation. Orders are not processed on weekends or holidays.

4.2. Shipping Methods

We offer two shipping options:

• Standard Shipping: $12.95 flat rate via DHL or FedEx. Delivery within 10-15 business days after leaving our warehouse.
• Free Shipping: Available for orders over $50 via EMS. Delivery within 15-25 business days after leaving our warehouse.

4.3. Shipping Destinations

We ship globally excluding Asia and certain remote regions. You are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees imposed by your country.

4.4. Delivery Issues

While we make every effort to deliver within estimated timeframes, delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control, including customs processing, weather events, or carrier delays.

5. Returns and Exchanges

5.1. Return Policy

We accept returns and exchanges for most items within 15 days of delivery. To be eligible for return:

• Items must be unused and in original condition with all tags and packaging
• Certain safety and hygiene items cannot be returned (see below)
• A Return Authorization (RA) number must be obtained from our customer service team

5.2. Non-Returnable Items

For safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on:

• Bolts & Anchors showing signs of use or wear
• Bouldering Mats that have been unrolled and used
• Camp Kitchen items that have been opened or used
• Any item not in its original condition, damaged, or missing parts

5.3. Return Process

To initiate a return or exchange:

1. Contact our customer service at [email protected] within 15 days of receiving your order
2. Include your order number and product details
3. Wait for instructions and a Return Authorization number
4. Securely package the item with the RA number visible
5. Ship using a trackable method

5.4. Refunds

Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 3-5 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item. Original shipping costs are non-refundable. Please allow:

• 5-10 business days for credit/debit card refunds to appear on your statement
• 3-5 business days for PayPal refunds

6. Limitation of Liability

Petzl Shop shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from:

• The use or inability to use our products
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data
• Statements or conduct of any third party on our website
• Any other matter relating to our products or services

Our total liability for any claim related to your use of our website or products shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product(s) in question.

This limitation of liability does not apply to damages resulting from our gross negligence or intentional misconduct, or where applicable law does not allow such limitation.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
